Connect, select and import
Open product imports
In DPPora, click Products in the navigation menu, then Import products at the top right. Choose Connect Shopify.
Find your Shopify store address
In Shopify, click Settings at the bottom left. Find the address beneath your store name on the left, ending in .myshopify.com. Use that address, rather than your customer-facing website domain.
Connect your store
Paste your .myshopify.com address into the Shopify store address field and click Connect Shopify. Shopify will ask you to sign in if needed.
Approve access in Shopify
Review the permissions on Shopify’s approval screen and click Install. The connector reads product information; it does not edit your Shopify catalogue. The installation screen may also list access to store-owner details.
Select your products
Back in DPPora, click Select loaded products to select all products currently loaded, or use the checkboxes to select them individually. Load more products if needed and check your selection before continuing.
Review and import
Click Review import. Check the product names, images, SKUs and supplied GTINs. Scroll down and click Import selected products. The progress indicator shows the import progressing, including image processing.
Open your product catalogue
When Import complete appears, click Open product catalogue. Review the imported products and complete their passport information before publishing.
Prefer a Shopify CSV?
In Shopify, open Products → Export and download your product CSV. In DPPora, open Import products and choose Upload Shopify CSV. Check and adjust the suggested mapping, review the rows and import. Files must be no larger than 8 MB; your plan’s record limit also applies.
Reimports and disconnection
Reimporting a linked Shopify variant through the connector refreshes its basic data while preserving passport information. CSV imports reject duplicate SKUs or GTINs rather than updating existing products. Disconnecting Shopify leaves imported products in DPPora. The connector is an import tool, not continuous inventory, order or customer synchronisation.
Automatically import your own catalogue
Look up any GTIN and automatically populate drafts with available GS1 product identity and photos. GS1 source fields remain read-only. Publishing requires a matching GS1 licence approved by DPPora. Submit licence evidence in Company profile. Import limits and passport allowances apply.
DPPora is an independent service with access to the Verified by GS1 API. DPPora is not operated by GS1, and API access does not imply GS1 endorsement or certification.
